Sr. Associate, Process Improvement in Boise, Idaho For Sale

Title: Sr. Associate, Process Improvement Location: ID-Boise The Senior Associate, Process Improvement is an integral part of the Change Management and Analysis team that influences key DIRECTV decision makers by researching issues, analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions. This position will help formulate recommendations and quantify the impact of the improvement as well as take part in the "before and after" impact analysis. Duties include, but are not limited to: * Conduct root cause analysis and follow-up investigations by analyzing process, performance and quality metrics data across departmental lines of business to identify improvement opportunities. * Research relevant data sources to identify and analyze root cause of problems. * Accurately interpret and report trends to senior management. * Gather industry benchmarks and compare company data to weigh the significance and scale of each issue identified. * Recommend, document, implement & maintain policies, procedures and controls * Quantify business impact of recommended business process and policy changes * Develop and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendations and obtain approval to proceed with changes. * Prioritize current project initiatives to drive change and enhance quality. * Research and verify reports of specific system or other customer/CSR affecting issues. * Measure performance against process requirements. * Respond to "Ad hoc" requests. * Attend weekly/monthly meetings. * Other duties as assigned. * Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred * Minimum 2 years Experience conducting root cause analysis in a business setting; experience in a Customer Service environment preferred * Minimum 1 years Experience with formal process improvement methodology, such as Six Sigma or TQM * Knowledge of the Digital Broadcast Systems (DBS) Satellite industry a plus. * Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel (solid understanding of Pivot tables), Power Point, Word, and Visio * Must have knowledge of business process measurement theories and tools, and excellent analytical skills; six sigma or similar statistical analysis experience preferred. * Proven organizational, analytical, and planning abilities required. * Must have proven track record at effectively interpreting, analyzing and creating quality charts. * Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization, multiple cross-functional groups and diverse personalities. * Must have excellent presentation skills and be able to facilitate meetings. * Must be able to work in a team environment. * Up to 10% travel required and the ability to expense travel costs prior to reimbursement. * Must be able to work extended hours.
