Kelly Services is currently recruiting for Material Handlers These are long term assignments Requirements * Proficient math skills * Proficient written and verbal communication skills * Proficient computer skills * Solid work history * Basic understanding of receiving, warehousing, service counter, shipping and delivery * Prior experience using a software package to manage inventories is preferred * Accustomed to working in a fast paced environment with deadlines and time constraints * Prior knowledge of hazardous material handling, safety and ESD awareness is desired * Able to walk 12–15 miles per day * Able to lift 35–50 lbs Responsibilities * Accurately processing on-line transactions; receiving, delivering, and/or moving materials from point to point within the facility * Performing cycle counts, material labeling, stocking and repackaging * Interfacing with customers, electronically track materials * Release / order material from outside sources * Taking orders and translating into electronic requests * Answering questions for customers regarding inventory and material systems * Operating material handling equipment * Participating in quality improvement activities * Utilizing on-line training materials including procedure manuals, checklists and scripts Kelly Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer
